Qenos Scheduled Plant Maintenance Feb/Mar 2023

We wish to advise you of upcoming turnaround activities planned for February and March 2023 at Qenos.
From 16 February, the Qenos Resins and Qenos Olefins plants will be performing major planned maintenance events which will last for approximately 30 days.
There are three distinct phases during the 30 day period: 1) Plant shutdown 2) Plant maintenance period and 3) Plant restart.
During the plant shutdown phase, there will be some flaring which will progressively reduce over a 7-10 day period. Qenos will actively manage the flare throughout this time to minimise the impact of flaring on our neighbours as much as practicably possible. This includes minimising night time flaring as far as is practical.

During the maintenance period, work will be carried out on plant equipment around the clock with a focus on noise minimisation during night time periods. The Qenos Resins plant will also be conducting parallel turnaround activities.

During the final restart phase there will be flaring until the plant is making on-spec product. As in the previous phases Qenos will actively manage the flare during night shift periods during the restart.

Qenos will endeavour to provide information and updates to the community about these activities and operations at our facilities which have the potential to impact the community in relation to noise, odour or other issues.
