Burning Plastic odour

Visit to area of complaint identified a burning odour similar to an open fire which was localised at the end of the street. The caller is sure that the odour he smelt was not from a wood fire and was of the same chemical character as he had experienced a couple of years ago.

The caller indicated that he thought the smell was similar to a series of samples he smelt circa 2014. At that time it was thought that the Complex was not the source of the odour. The caller noted that at times he has smelt this odour in Kororoit Creek Road. A new series of samples is being put together to assist the caller to better characterise the odour he has experienced. This will occur in July following his return from holidays.
