| Investigation result | There was no flaring at Olefins or activities identified likely to create the reported noise. The Caller further clarified the noise was like a relief valve originating from behind their property (that is from the north), and it stopped around 5 minutes after the call was made at~23:20. There was no variation in noise levels over this time as logged by Olefins plant sound level meters. |
