| Investigation result | No complex operational issues or activities identified likely to be causing elevated off site noise. There was no flaring at Qenos Olefins, some controlled flaring was in progress at Qenos Plastics below levels with potential for off site impact. Further description of noise from caller is not consistent with it originating from the complex. Olefins noise meters showed no change to background levels between 11:15 pm to 12:30 am when it was reported as being elevated |
